I am so excited for
this new year with your children. I look forward to working with you and your
kindergartener in this 2014-2015 school year! I wanted to share a bit about
myself with you!
I am originally from
Binghamton, New York: a small town filled with family and friends in upstate
New York. I moved to the Maryland/Washington area 7 years ago to pursue my
career in teaching. I received my degree in Childhood Education from SUNY
Oneonta-even further Upstate! I frequently enjoy taking the trip to visit my
family and friends back home-and to see a Yankee game every once in a while. I
recently moved to Washington DC and enjoy living in our Nation’s Capital. I
find this area to be filled with great things to do and amazing people to meet.
I also enjoy reading, running, shopping, and cooking!
I arrived here at
Fallsmead over 6 years ago and find myself very lucky to teach in such an
amazing school with such wonderful children, parents, staff, and friends. I
find being a Kindergarten Teacher to be the most rewarding job! I enjoy sharing
my passion for reading and writing with my class each year. I look forward to
working with you and know this year will be a success!
